2009-10 Passport Programs Offer Reduced Rates For Kids (Updates Coming Soon)
(Updated 8/18/09) Programs
in several states offer ways for elementary-school-age children to try out snow
sports for free or very low cost. Many of the programs are sponsored by state
mountain resort associations, open to children in those states, and feature
free lift tickets, lessons or other services for children in specific grades.
Because most of these programs have the word "passport" in them, we
have used that term to describe them collectively. However, they are not all
alike, so please consult the appropriate web site for full information on these
programs.
Listed below are the programs from the 2008/9 season; please check back for updates for the 2009/10 season.
