Winter Feels Good (WFG) is a nationwide public awareness campaign developed by SnowSports Industries America's Snow Sports Foundation to educate the public about the health, fitness and social benefits of snow sports and how children and adults can become involved. Now entering its fourth year, WFG serves as a resource to government organizations, educators, youth organizations, and individuals on the different aspects of learning and enjoying winter sports as part of a healthy lifestyle.
And, because WFG is a comprehensive grassroots program that leverages existing partnerships and builds new relationships with groups (i.e., education, government, community, and health) in their local communities, it is a natural partner to help resorts and retailers increase their businesses--together and individually--in an easy and simple way. Simply utilize the WFG
messages and images of good health through snow sports to craft
your own program to drive traffic
to your Web site, and ultimately, to your shop or resort.

Once you've settled on a sport to try out, make sure you try our "Feels-Good-O-Meter." The "meter" is a great online tool that provides you with information about specific gear manufacturers and brands, as well listing local retail shops where you can go to see the gear in person. Also, you can find the closest resort or Nordic center to get on snow and start having fun. |
